Final Project

I applied Photoshop skill which I learn from the class to show my picture. I adopted several pictures which I took in the travel to Chicago.

The first picture I selected from Grant Park since it the huge mirror which can reflect whole view of Chicago.so I cut the main form the picture since it just fit into the cotton shape of Christmas Hat. I also attach my head picture took in the close distance with that huge mirror.

Second, I picked up the picture I took from Sky-deck tower which has 113 floors. I took this night view on the top of the tower. Since Chicago night view is filled with amazing golden light, form the top of tower I can even clearly see every street and road. So I applied Chicago light to decorate Christmas tree.

Last, the snowflake pictures I took in front of a Victoria’s secret door which is located on Michigan Avenue. Since this shop has huge beautiful door, I decided took a picture of myself. Since Christmas is coming so I made in the shape of snowflake.

Brainstrom

When I look through my iPhone photo album, I suddenly realize that there are lots of picture I took in front of glass or mirror. So goes along with idea. I remind of kaleidoscope. I decide to put my picture in different way like kaleidoscope does. When I Google to find out what exactly I need to do in order to represent my idea, I find out that the fantastic image of kaleidoscope. Different angle shows various images.

I look through my album again and I pick up several my favorite photos which all contain glass element. And then I twist one of them into the shape of snowflake since I like snowflake. I also change a mirror stone (I name it), which is located in the Grand Park in Chicago into shape of tree. Finally, I pick up the last picture to show the shape of Santa’ hat.

What I did shows not only the image of kaleidoscope but also the celebration of Christmas, which is just around corn.

My favorite & unfavorite project

When I look backwards, the most favorite work is the MP4, combing the song and picture together. The work I feel the most disappointed is the MP5. The reasons are listed below.

      During the working period of MP4, I always listen to the song called “kiss the rain”. What is make it coincident is that I happened to went to campus in the rain. The wind was so strong to walk any steps. What makes it worse is that I even forget to bring my umbrella. Instead of tried to find a shield, I enjoy the wired whether. As result, an idea came to my mind. I was going to combine my favorite song ‘’Kiss the rain” with this wired song, though the song make me comfortable and cozy. I was so interest in what this work will be like. I decided to add song effective song to my favorite song in order to the change original meaning of the song. What I want to express is that I come across a wired whether, however, my feeling from my deep heart is still happy and willing to accept every unexpected thing.   

   For my disfavored work, I do not think it is interesting and creative. I tried to combine every picture I took to address the concept of disarranged nature. Each picture is perfect and I like every components of the each picture, however, after combing, I think the final work does look good. I rotated the parking lots combined with lack, so that make it like round earth. Also put squirrels, tress in the city which to indicate that nature is grown up in the city. 

Bloge 8

The relationship between author’s wife and the blind man attracts me a lot. After author’s wife helps the blind man in many sides such as reading case study, report and organizing his office, the blind asks the author’s wife do him a favor—giving him a chance to touch her face. This action is meaningful, since touch is the only way for blind man to feel what the world like. From my concern, when the blind man touch the author’s wife, he may think that how beautiful the women it is since she has a really nice heart and careful thought for me.

            What bother me a lot are the author’s reactions. He is man who deeply loves his wife. However, he does not have a generous heart and sympathy for the blind man who just lost wife. What the author does is to ask critical answers without paying attention his wife feeling.  

Disarranged nature

My two words are “disarrange” and “nature”. I prefer to combines these two words. The central idea is to put nature stuffs in a disordered way. Such as rotate sky and land, nature grows in the city. Everything is arranged in the opposite position. At first, I selects several pictures my friends took when we are in travel, such as in Yellow Stone, in Chicago and near the Lake not far away from the Columbus. Second I try to put nature stuffs in the city where those are not supposed to grow up. The purpose is to show that trees and animal are disarrange.  Third, I also rotate the city image which my friend took in Chicago. The aim is to show sky and lands are disarranged. Then, I cut Lake Image from the picture my friend took in national park. I put this on the top of my work, representing, lake is in the sky. also I cut squirrels image from another picture I took in national park. Finally, everything do not listed in an normal way.

         This place is next to the stadium where I take Art Education. After I park my car, I always go through this area. Sometime this place is filled with sunshine, sometime strong come through. During the autumn, the leaves’ color gradually turn into yellow which make this place in the fair story. This video was taken at a special time when the rain suddenly came in the morning without any indication. When I closed my eyes, I could hear that wind was moaning through the leaves. This day really made shake, since I forgot to bring my umbrella and had to hide in front of an arch closed door waiting for stop. I combine this video song with the song “kiss the rain” since the beginning of “kiss the rain” really match to this situation. Also I add specific song effect make it more complement. So that this combine song send out a feeling of sorrow.
